What are my printing options?
Cardstock
We take pride in our paper. We typically print on 100 to 130 lb. cardstock, depending on the number of inserts the folder will hold.
Size
Standard presentation folders are 9 x 12 inches. We have more than 600 dies and configurations at our fingertips to provide exactly the size and shape you need.
Pockets
We offer one and two pocket options as well as custom designs to hold all your materials in style.
Fold
You can customize your fold to achieve various orientations. The photograph above shows an example of a custom fold.
Business card slits
Business card slits can be the horizontal or vertical, and you select the location. We also offer slits for including CDs, DVDs, or other inserts.
Die cut
Dies can be used to add a decorative cut to your presentation folders. We have over 600 dies currently available. Don’t see what you want? We can create a new custom die to achieve exactly the look you desire.
Emboss and deboss
Embossing and debossing add elegance and a tactile element to your presentation folders. Embossing raises the front of the paper; debossing indents into the paper. Often the back of the paper will display the reverse image. Embossing can be used with foil stamps.
Foil stamp
Foil application makes your work shine. Select metallic foil or choose from hundreds of colors.
Aqueous Coating
An aqueous coating can be applied to your entire presentation folder for added protection. It is ideal for mailings or passing out folders at events where the material will be repeatedly handled. The aqueous coating is water based so it’s more environmentally friendly.
Soft Touch Coating
Add a velvety texture and make your presentation folders fingerprint resistant.
Silk Lamination
Silk lamination makes your folder stronger and more resistant to water, tears, stains, and fingerprints. The smooth texture and subtle light reflection mimic silk fabric, adding an impression of luxury.
Glossy UV Coating
Make your design shine with a high gloss sheen. A liquid coating is applied to the paper and dried using ultraviolet light, which hardens the surface. It provides greater durability for folders that’ll experience rougher handling, such as being mailed or carried in conference tote bags. Use it to brighten your design and add richness to colors.
Spot UV/Spot Varnish
Highlight a logo, image, text, or graphic using selective application of UV coating. It adds depth and texture, and creates contrast and visual interest.
